The project is a socialized housing located in Lupang Arenda, Taytay, Rizal. The site is prone to flooding and liquefaction due to adjcent Laguna de Bay and Pasig River. During the 2009 Typhoon Ondoy, the area was submerged in water longer than other areas in Rizal. Our task in this project is to provide architectural design solution that will mitigate the events of flooding in the community and apply Urban Design Principles pertaining to Urban Resiliency and Urban Mobility.
